Medical Student Education

The goal of the Medical Student Education Program in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience is to provide students with the highest quality psychiatric education.

Our faculty teaches students in all four years of medical school. Many of our teachers are nationally and internationally renowned basic and clinical researchers who keep students informed of cutting-edge developments in understanding and treating psychiatric disorders.

We also provide unique opportunities for students interested in careers in psychiatry through activities such as the monthly Psychiatry Student Interest Group and the Child Psychiatry Student Interest Group.
