UC Health University HospitalUC Health University Hospital

University Hospital is the principal training site for inpatient psychiatry, emergency psychiatry, consultation-liaison psychiatry, internal medicine, and emergency medicine. This hospital serves as the primary provider of indigent care and tertiary-level care in Cincinnati. 

 

 

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is the training site for child and adolescent psychiatry. In addition, it is the principal training site for the child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship. Cincinnati Children's is a world-renowned pediatric hospital with a broad range of psychiatric services including inpatient, consultation-liaison, neuropsychiatic inpatient care, residential treatment, partial hospital programming, and a psychiatric emergency service.

 

VA Medical CenterCincinnati Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center

The Veterans Affairs Medical Center provides rotations in addiction psychiatry, inpatient psychiatry, outpatient psychiatry, geropsychiatry, and inpatient neurology.  

 

  

Central ClinicCentral Clinic/Outpatient Psychiatry

Central Clinic is the principal training site for outpatient treatment of the chronically mentally ill population. Central Clinic has a long and outstanding tradition as one of the oldest psychiatric clinics in the country.  The Resident Psychotherapy Clinic (RPC) is also located at this site. 

 

 

Main Campus at UCMain Campus Student Health 

Residents rotate at either the Student Health Center or the Student Counseling Center providing outpatient pharmacologic treatment for UC students in collaboration with therapists from other disciplines. 

 

 

Cincinnati Psychoanalytic InstituteCincinnati Psychoanalytic Institute

The Institute is a highly regarded treatment and training center that provides faculty who are involved in outpatient psychotherapy supervision and didactic teaching.

 

 

 

Court ClinicCourt Clinic Forensics Services

The Court Clinic is located 2 miles from campus and across the street from the Hamilton County Justice Center (courtrooms and jail). Residents learn forensic psychiatry in this setting.
