Eligibility
Children and adolescents (10-17 years old) with a diagnosis of bipolar I depression
Inpatient or outpatient

LAMICTAL as Add-on Treatment for Bipolar I Disorder in Children and Adolescents
Eligibility
Children and adolescents (10-17 years old) with a diagnosis of bipolar I disorder and are depressed, manic/hypomanic, or mixed
Outpatients only but consent can be given while inpatient

MRI STUDY involving treatment with SEROQUEL or LITHIUM CARBONATE for Adults and Adolescents with Bipolar I Disorder
Eligibility
Adults and adolescents (12-35 years old) with a diagnosis of bipolar I disorder and are manic, mixed, or depressed
MRI brain scan required

LITHIUM study for Adolescents and Adults with Bipolar I Disorder
Eligibility
Adults and adolescents (15-55 years old) with a diagnosis of bipolar I disorder and are manic, mixed, or depressed
